Story[]
Narrator: Some boys and girls were at a party one night. 4 of them were Molly, Tobias, Oona and Nonny. There was a graveyard down the street, and they were talking about how scary it was.
Tobias: Don’t ever stand on a grave after dark. The person inside will grab you. He’ll pull you under.
Molly: That’s not true. It’s just a superstition.
Tobias: I’ll give you $1 if you stand on a grave.
Molly: A grave doesn’t scare me. I’ll do it right now.
Narrator: Tobias handed her a knife.
Tobias: Stick this knife in one of the graves. Then we’ll know you were there.
Narrator: The graveyard was filled with shadows and was as quiet as death.
Molly: There is nothing to be scared of.
Narrator: She was scared anyway. Molly picked out a grave and stood on it. Then quickly she bent over and plunged the knife into the soil, and she started to leave. But she couldn’t get away. Something was holding her back! She tried a second time to leave, but she couldn’t move! She was filled with terror.
Molly: Something has got me!
Narrator: Molly fell to the ground. When she didn’t come back, Tobias, Oona, and Nonny went to look for her. They found her body sprawled across the grave. Without realizing it, she had plunged the knife through her skirt and had pinned it to the ground. It was only the knife that held her. She had died of fright.

Molly, Tobias, Oona, and Nonny are at a party. Down the street is a graveyard. Tobias says not to go there and stand on a grave or someone will grab you and pull you under. Molly doesn't believe it. Tobias dares her to do it for $1. He gives her a knife and tells her to stick it in a grave. She goes to the graveyard and is scared. She sticks the knife in a grave and tries to leave but something is holding her back. She screams out and falls to the ground. Tobias, Oona. and Nonny find her dead. The knife was the thing holding her back and she had died of fright.
