Story[]
Narrator: A young boy named Darius was out for a walk. When a storm came up, he looked for a place to take shelter. Soon he came to an old house. He ran up on the porch and knocked on the door, but nobody answered. By now rain was pouring down, thunder was booming, and lightning was flashing. So he tried the door. When he found it was unlocked, he went inside. Except for a pile of wooden boxes, the house was empty. He broke up some of the boxes and made a fire with them. Then he sat down in front of the fire and dried himself. It was so warm and cozy that he fell asleep. When he woke up a small brown bear was sitting near the fire. It stared at him for a while. Then it went to sleep.
Darius: What a nice bear.
Narrator: He dozed off again. When he opened his eyes, there was a second bear in the room. But this one was as big as a wolf. It looked at him very closely.
Mama Bear: Shall we do it now?
Baby Bear: No. Let's wait till Chuckolaptor comes.
Darius: I must be dreaming.
Narrator: He closed his eyes again. Then he took another look. But now there was a third bear in the room, and this one was as big as a tiger. It looked Darius over.
Papa Bear: Shall we do it now?
Mama Bear and Baby Bear: No. Let's wait till Chuckolaptor comes!
Narrator: Darius jumped up, jumped out the window and started running.
Darius: When Chuckolaptor comes, you tell him I couldn't wait!

A young boy named Darius is out for a walk. Then a storm starts. Darius finds a old house and goes in. He makes a fire with a pile of wooden boxes. He dries himself and falls asleep. When he wakes up he sees a small brown bear. He goes back to sleep again. When he wakes up he sees a bigger bear who is the size of a wolf. They discuss about doing something with Darius and decide to wait until Chuckolaptor comes. Darius believes he is dreaming and closes his eyes. When he opens them again, there is a even bigger bear that's the size of a tiger. He looks over Darius and asks if they can do something yet. They all agree to wait for Chuckolaptor to come. Darius jumps out of the window of the house and runs. He yells out to tell Chuckolaptor he couldn't wait as he runs.
